Boswick is a former clown with Ringling Brother and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
You may have seen him on commercials for The Yellow Pages, Nissan, BMW, The San Francisco Examiner or in the movie Milk starring Sean Penn.
Boswick was recently profiled in New York Magazine.
Boswick has been entertaining families for more than half his life; he’s appeared at over 5000 family events. Boswick’s world-famous balloon animals have appeared in publication and on TV shows! Even his big clown feet were used in a promotion for the Disney Channel!
Boswick was also featured in the music video “Despite What You’ve Been Told” by the Two Gallants. Right after the video came out The Two Gallants appeared on Jimmy Kimmel.
Boswick was crowned world’s fastest balloon maker by the International Juggling Association (IJA) when he set the world record in the balloon animal relay by running 20 yards, blowing up a balloon, and making a balloon dog, all in 9.6 seconds (Whew!)
Boswick is the author of “Hey Quit Clowning Around. Think Act and Talk Like a Clown” A joke book with over 1500 jokes for what clowns hear everyday.
Boswick is one of the original cast of the long running show “The Speakeasy”, currently playing in San Francisco. He plays the ne’er do well magician Bosley The Magnificent that upsets everyone he encounters.
Boswick is also an Artist in Residence at Ruth Asawa School Of the Arts in San Francisco teaching clowning and circus skills in the acting department.
When Boswick is not performing, writing or making videos he’s an annoying husband and lazy father of two sons.
